A – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Littoral – The Constellations of Île d’Orléans owns the intellectual property rights to all the content of the application and its visual identity. The application is intended for personal use. It may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, published or broadcast for any other purpose without the prior written authorization of the MRC de L’Île-d’Orléans. It is forbidden to use any trademark, or any other protected work accessible on the application for any reason whatsoever. All other trademarks and corporate names that appear on the application belong to its owner. It is forbidden to use, display or exhibit them without the authorization of the owner.
B – PRIVACY POLICY
This page informs you of our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Coastline application and the choices you have associated with this data. We use your data to provide and improve the Coastline app. By using the Coastline app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We collect different types of information to provide and improve our service to you.
Personal data
While using our Service, we will not ask you to provide us with any personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.
Usage data
When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may automatically collect certain information, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you are using, your mobile device’s unique identifier, your mobile device’s IP address, your operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Global Positioning System (GPS)
The mobile device GPS functionalities are used within the app to show the users position on the map. This is helpful to find the closest available point of interests.
Data transfer
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside Canada and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Canada and process it there. We may use third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the Littoral App, to provide the Littoral App on our behalf, to perform services related to the Littoral App, or to help us analyze how the Coastline application is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Analytic
We may use third party service providers to monitor and analyze usage of the Coastline App.

The Littoral application may contain links to other sites that we do not operate. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of each site you visit. We have no control and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. In the event that we discover that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the date at the top of this Privacy Policy. The MRC de L’Île-d’Orléans offers no guarantee that the information and/or elements accessible by the Littoral application are accurate, complete or up-to-date. We are not responsible for the content (errors in prices or times, etc.).
D. USER BEHAVIOR
The user guarantees that he will not use the site or the services offered for illicit purposes and undertakes to comply with the laws and regulations in force. The user will be solely responsible for the damage he causes to the Coastline application or to third parties, due to improper use. In the event of a violation by the user of his legal and contractual obligations, the MRC de L’Île-d’Orléans reserves the right to take legal action to put an end to the violation in question and to obtain reparations.
