La Midinette Boulangerie de fancy & restaurant

Those to whow owe the sustainability of Cassis Monna & Filles, Anne and Catherine Monna, are starting a new project by acquiring La Boulange, an artisanal bakery located in the heart of St-Jean-de-l’Île-d’Orléans. From the end of June, the charming presbytery built in 1879 will continue its story under a renewed concept, La Midinette Boulangerie de fancy & restaurant, a place to eat near the river inspired by seaside resorts and the holiday spirit!

In the morning, the bakery activities for which La Boulange was recognized will continue, such as the sale fo bread and pastries. From noon, a small menu inspired by the islands and the beach will lowly take over: simple dishes to share and a fine selection of wines to enhance happy hour. A flavorful experience in a friendly setting that evokes the warmth of the south and a sweet nostalgia!

With Cassis Monna & Filles, on the garden side, and La Midinette, on the beach side, the Monna sisters assert their desire to transport lovers of discoveries and gourmet experiences into original and authentic universes inspired by the most enchanting places on Île d’Orléans.

  For the week-end May 17 to 20 open Friday to Monday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  May 24 to 26 open Friday to Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  May 31 (Friday) until June 20 open every day 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  From June 21 open Sunday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.*
