Au Poste de Traite is an hotel establish in Sainte-Famille de l’Île d’Orléans that has been in operation for more than 10 years & includes 10 rooms. Having undergone several renovations in 2021-2022, the rustic decor is as pleasant to look at as it is to stay in. There is also a restaurant with the largest terrace on the island and a breathtaking view!

You will find a wide variety of cocktails, beers & some non-alcoholic options! Wine lovers will also be pleased! This one offers a menu that adapts to the seasons. In the summer, it’s a tapas & bistro style menu, offering chef’s specials, thematic culinary events  & more gastronomic dishes in the evening. Our homemade pizza is worth a visit! You can also enjoy several small shows on the terrace on Saturday nights. There is also a small dairy bar on site offering homemade gelato, soft serve ice cream & other specialties! In the fall, we are more into comfort food with good soups made with vegetables from the island directly, good homemade apple pies & other local products. In winter, you can enjoy a good fondue or raclette in the traditional way or for the curious, with wild meats. The restaurant also offers some vegetarian options all year round.

The atmosphere is very warm and will make you feel comfortable quickly! As the slogan says: You have to see it to believe it! 🙂
